Stop Press ... 25th Anniversary Kodokan Kendo Seminar returns to Kodokan UK
Announcement THE KODOKAN SEMINAR HAS FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW HOSTED A GRADING IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH EKF/IKF REGULATIONS FOR 1ST KYU TO 5TH DAN. HOWEVER THE BKA KENDO BU HAS CONFIRMED THAT IT DOES NOT INTEND TO APPROVE THIS FOR THE NEXT YEAR. THIS MEANS THAT THERE WILL NOT BE A GRADING TAKING PLACE AT THE 2010 EVENT, THE 25TH KODOKAN SEMINAR. ON BEHALF OF THE ORGANISERS AND SENSEI, WE EXTEND OUR APOLOGIES TO THOSE MEMBERS WHO WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE ATTENDED IN ORDER TO GRADE, BUT THE CIRCUMSTANCES ARE BEYOND OUR CONTROL. THE GRADING ASSESSMENT WITH SUMI SENSEI AND THE TEACHERS WILL NOW TAKE PLACE ON THE SUNDAY
