Dear fellow Kendoka - We need more Taikai! So keep the weekend of the 25th July free and come to Northumbria University for the first Northern Open!
25th July 2009 - The Northern Open Taikai will take plae at Northumbria University, City Campus Sports Hall, Northumberland Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 8ST
The program for the championships will be 3 man/woman teams with no grade restrictions. Normal FIK Shiai rules will apply, all competitors must be aged 18 years of over and be EKF/FIK registered. A maximum of 4 teams per Dojo will be permitted.

*The cost per team will be £30, please make all cheques payable to The Northern Open. Closing date for applications Saturday 4th July 2009. All monies must be received by this date. Applications can be made online from our website. Please send all paper application forms and Cheques to;
